Katy is the BBC’s Transport Correspondent. A versatile multimedia broadcaster and journalist, she breaks and reports transport stories for a general audience. Katy has spent the past decade of her career working at the BBC, joining the team of national reporters after spells in Southampton and in Hull. She was a Business Correspondent before moving to the Transport beat 2 years ago. During this time, the aviation industry’s emergence from the era of Covid restrictions has been one of the key stories. Katy’s work includes regular reporting for the BBC’s flagship news bulletins, BBC Breakfast, and contributing to the BBC website. She occasionally appears as a presenter on BBC Breakfast, and has presented Radio 4 Today’s Business section.
